Tonight is homecoming and senior night for Letcher County Central football and the Cougars will take on the Whitley County Colonels in a big district showdown
The both LCC and Whitley County are 4-4 overall and 1-1 in the district.
The winner of tonight’s game will claim second place in class 4A district 8 and play at home for the first round of the playoffs.
Kickoff tonight is at 7:30pm from Cougar Field and we’ll bring you the game on the Bulldog with the Appalachian Wireless Cougar Countdown pregame show at 7:00pm with Michael Watts and Bull Creech.
Homecoming festivities begins at 5:45pm Friday with senior night starting at 6:15pm.
Gates will open at 4:30pm for fan admission.
With the expected increase in attendance, LCC will be offering a shuttle service from the DCBS office located near Walmart, beginning at 5:00pm.
Once the standard parking areas are full, everyone will be directed to the shuttle location.
No parking will be permitted at the top of the hill beyond the LCC softball field.
