Officials have released the name of a Letcher County man killed in a crash on KY-15 Friday afternoon.
The coroner says 72-year-old Larry Stamper of Isom died in the crash between his car and a pickup truck around 4:30 p.m. Friday on KY-15 just south of the intersection of KY-1148 and Isom Drive, not far from Stamper’s home.
Officials say he was making a turn when his car was hit.
The road was closed for nearly three hours
