The 14th Region champion Letcher County Central Lady Cougars will play under the lights tonight in the KHSAA softball state tournament.
The LCC girls will take on 13th Region champion North Laurel tonight at 8:30pm eastern at UK’s John Cropp Stadium in Lexington.

Pregame begins around 7:30pm with Michael Watts and Greg “Bull” Creech live from the stadium at UK.
At 7:00pm this evening we’ll broadcast a special replay of some of the interviews during the LCC Lady Cougar send off show that we aired Tuesday night here on the Bulldog.

The other 3 softball state tournament opening round games today will be
Mercer County against Daviess County at 10:00am, Assumption takes on Highlands at 1:00pm, Mercy Academy will face Boyd County at 5:30pm.
4 more opening round games will be played Friday.
15th Region champion Lawrence County will play Friday,in the last game of the opening round at 8:30pm against McCracken County.
