Jenkins Independent Schools has announced the newest members of the Jenkins Athletics Hall of Fame, with the 2025 class set to be officially inducted this Saturday, August 23, at 1 p.m. in the Jenkins Middle School cafeteria.
This year’s honorees include standout athletes and coaches who left a lasting legacy on Jenkins sports:
• Debra Oden Williams, Class of 1976, was a star in both basketball and track, earning recognition as one of the school’s top multi-sport athletes.
• Tommy Brush, Class of 1959, made his mark as both a player and a coach in Jenkins football, contributing decades of dedication to the Cavaliers program.
• Henry “Ed” & Reeda Wright are being honored for their leadership and commitment as coaches of women’s basketball and track, shaping generations of student-athletes through their guidance and passion for the game.
Community members, alumni, and supporters are invited to attend the event and honor the achievements of these outstanding individuals.
