A Pike County native has been named Chief of Staff for the Washington DC office of Congressman Hal Rogers. The office announced that Karen Kelly, Rogers’ former District Director for Kentucky, will be heading to the nation’s capital next month. Kelly served as District Director in Kentucky for nine years, and previously served as Rogers’ Field Representative in Eastern Kentucky. Rogers calls Kelly instrumental in establishing the initiatives SOAR, Operation UNITE and Eastern Kentucky PRIDE.
