Kentucky Agencies Team Up for New Career Training in Mental/Behavioral Health

Students interested in a possible career in the mental and behavioral health fields will
have a new career pathway to choose from in Perry County.

The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education and Cabinet for Health and Family Services have partnered on two programs in which students can earn certifications that enable them to work in the behavioral health field right after graduation or get more education credentials.

The Hazard Herald reports participating high schools include Floyd County, Prestonsburg,
Betsy Lane, Harlan County, Harlan, Hazard, Perry County Central and Buckhorn.
