Quarterback Cutter Boley connected on 18 of 23 through the air for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and the Kentucky defense came up big for the second straight game as the football Cats pounded Florida 38-7 on Saturday night at Kroger Field.
Dante Dowdell carried seven times for 104 yards and a touchdown, while Seth McGowan rushed 22 times for 92 yards and a pair of scores.
The UK defense was stellar again in Saturday’s game, allowing just seven points, only 247 yards and forcing four Florida turnovers.
Kentucky is now 4-5 overall and 2-5 in the SEC.
The Cats will return to action this Saturday for a non conference game, hosting Tennessee Tech for Senior Day.
Kickoff is set for 1:30pm from Kroger Field.
