Kentucky Drops SEC Road Game at Georgia

It was an ugly loss for the #6 Kentucky Wildcats last night in their first SEC road game of the year.

The Cats lost to the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens Tuesday night, 82-69.

In a game that took 2 1/2 hours to play because of 44 fouls called, a lot of plays reviewed by the officials and numerous free throws, mainly by Georgia, the Cats looked overwhelmed most of the night.

Kentucky shot just 6 of 25 from 3-point land and had 14 turnovers.

Lamont Butler led the Cats with 20 points, 13 for Brandon Garrison and 12 for Otega Oweh.

Kentucky falls to 12-3 on the season and 1-1 in the SEC.

Kentucky returns to action on Saturday, at No. 14 Mississippi State in Starkville.

Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET with pregame at 7:00pm here on 103.9 The Bulldog.

This week’s UK Coach Mark Pope Show, The UK Women’s Coach Kenny Brooks Show and BBN Live will air tonight, on Wednesday, from 6-8pm here on the Bulldog.
