Kentucky Fall Forest Fire season Begins Today

Kentucky’s Fall Fire Season has begun.

From today through December 15, you can only burn between 6pm and 6am and you must stay 150 feet away from wooded areas and remain with the fire until it is completely out.

Officials recommend you to keep your burn pile small and keep some water and a shovel nearby just in case.

They remind you that if your burn pile starts a wildfire, you may have to pay for the cost of putting it out.
