The preseason US LBM College Football Coaches Poll came out Monday.
Kentucky will enter the year receiving 12 votes, and ranked No. 37 overall and No. 11 in the SEC.
Georgia is ranked #1, other SEC schools include Texas (No. 4), Alabama (No. 5), Ole Miss (No. 6), Missouri (No. 11), LSU (No. 12), Tennessee (No. 15), Oklahoma (No. 16) and Texas A&M (No. 20).
Louisville (95 votes), Florida (11 votes) and South Carolina (10 votes) are other schools on Kentucky’s schedule receiving votes.
The Cats open the season Saturday August 31 at Kroger Field against Southern Miss with kickoff at 7:15pm.
