Kentucky Power customers could be getting some money back.
The Kentucky Public Service Commission says it has accepted a settlement with Kentucky Power over the company’s Fuel Adjustment Clause under which Kentucky Power will refund $16.9 million to rate payers and it could mean about $27 million in savings to rate payers over
the next two years.
This case stemmed from how prices were adjusted from 2020 to 2022.
They say the average residential customer will get a credit of about $51.00.
