A Harlan man is facing charges for allegedly setting a pickup truck on fire.
It happened around 3am Tuesday on KY 610 in Virgie.
Kentucky State Police say when they arrived along with firefighters they found the suspect John Bentley who allegedly told them he had started the fire “to get police attention.”
Troopers alleged Bentley had also threatened to burn a nearby home.
Bentley is so far charged with terroristic threatening, burning during a burn ban, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
