The Kentucky men’s basketball team beat Gonzaga in the Battle in Seattle late Saturday night in Overtime 90-89.
Kentucky was down by 16 at halftime but battled back in the second half and won it in overtime to improve to 8-1.
Kentucky overcame injuries to Lamont Butler and Kerr Kriisa, changed up their defense and shot the ball much better in the second half to come back and get the win, ending Gonzaga’s streak of 175 wins in a row when leading by 10 or more at halftime.
Kentucky will be back home for a game against 2-7 Colgate out of the Patriot League this Wednesday at Rupp Arena.
Tipoff is at 8:00pm
Pregame begins at 6:30pm Wednesday night here on 103.9 The Bulldog.
The Cats will then take on Louisville this Saturday at Rupp Arena with a tipoff time of 5:15pm.
