KHSAA Football State Championship Games Now Set, No Mountain Teams Still Playing

The KHSAA high school football state championship games are now set for this coming weekend.

On Friday night, the only mountain team left in the playoffs, lost to Union County 43-21.

Corbin out of class 4A also lost, getting beat by Paducah Tilghman 31-14.

The football state championship games will be played at Kroger Field in Lexington this weekend and here’s the schedule:

Friday December 6
Class A Raceland takes on Lexington Sayre at 12 noon
Class 2A Owensboro Catholic faces Beechwood at 4:00pm
Class 4A Franklin County takes on Paduchah Tilghman at 8:00pm Friday.

On Saturday December 7
Class 3A Union County will face Christian Academy of Lousiville at 12 noon

In Class 6A Ryle takes on Trinity at 4:00pm

and in Class 5A Cooper takes on Bowling Green at 8:00pm Saturday night.
