A Hardy man is facing drug charges following a KSP visit to his home.
Officials say Kentucky State Police suspected drug trafficking at the home of Thomas Jervis so three troopers went to his house for what they call a “knock-and-talk” when they don’t have a
warrant but they do tell the suspect whey they are there and ask if they can come inside
and look around.
Mountain Top News report KSP troopers allegedly found a safe in one room with 15 grams of meth and some scales and then another safe in a child’s bedroom which allegedly contained a loaded gun and $7,000 in cash.
Jervis is reportedly charged with meth trafficking, endangering the welfare of a minor, and more.
