KY Power Rates Going Up

Rates for Kentucky Power are going up, but not nearly as much as the company wanted. Last week the Kentucky Public Service Commission issued their ruling on Kentucky Power’s request for a rate increase. Last year the company had requested an increase of 18.3%. Following a series of public impact hearings in November held by the PSC, Kentucky Power lowered the ask to around 11%. But on Friday the PSC announced they agreed to 5.66%,
