The 37th annual WYMT Mountain Classic continued last at the Morton Combs Athletic Center at Knott County Central.
In an early season district matchup, the Letcher County Central Cougar boys came from 13 points down in the 4th Quarter to beat Knott County Central 53-50 in the consolation round.
Also last night, in the boys bracket of the WYMT mountain classic, Perry County Central beat Harlan Ind 89-58 and Floyd Central got by Clay County 60-58.
The girls WYMT tournament will begin play tonight with 2 games: Corbin takes on Perry County Central and Knott County Central takes on Jackson County.
The girls part of the tournament continues Thursday, the boys semifinals are Friday, girls semi finals are Saturday morning with both boys and girls championship games on Saturday night, all at Knott County Central.
