In high school baseball, the Letcher County Central Cougars scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning but came up short losing 4-3 to Knott County Central in a district game at home last night.
The Cougar boys are now 2-4 on the year and will next play Wise Central at home Tuesday with game time at 5:30pm.
The Jenkins baseball Cavaliers will next play at Rye Cove VA this evening, Thursday at 6:00pm and then play at Cordia tomorrow, Friday, at 6:00pm.
