The KHSAA high school football season opens this weekend Friday and Saturday August 22 and 23.
The Letcher County Central Cougars have moved to class 3A this year and will open the 2025 season against Johnson Central at 6:00pm this Saturday August 23 at Shelby Valley in the Blue & White Bowl
The second game will be Shelby Valley taking on Ironton, OH.
