After a day of flooding and high winds across the county and region, the weather cleared in time for Friday Night Football at Letcher County Central High School including a right on time rainbow.
The Letcher Central Cougars had a complete well played game as they overcome a small halftime lead and dominated the second half beating a tough Breathitt County Bobcat team 41-18 to even their season record at 3-3.
Homecoming had been planned for LCC Friday night but was rescheduled for October 25 when LCC takes on the Whitley County Colonels at Cougar Field.
The Cougar football team will have an open date this Friday with no game scheduled.
They will next begin Class 4A District 8 play at Corbin on October 11th.
