The Letcher County Central Cougars baseball team took care of Magoffin County 16-1 last night at Pike County Central in the KY 2A Section 8 Tournament.
The 5-4 Cougars have won 3 games in a row and take on Jenkins next in a district game at LCC this Friday at 5:30pm.
The Cougars are then scheduled to play 2 games on Saturday at home.
They will face Lee High out of Jonesville VA at 11:00am and then take on Wise Central at 3:30pm Saturday.
The Jenkins baseball Cavaliers are next scheduled to play the district game at Letcher County Central this Friday followed by a home game against Martin County on Tuesday.
