In high school football, Shelby Valley is set to host the Blue & White Bowl on Saturday, August 23rd to kickoff the upcoming season.
The two games of the Blue & White Bowl will he Letcher County Central facing Johnson Central at 6:00pm with Shelby Valley taking on Ironton, Ohio around 8:30pm.
With the KHSAA realignment, the football Cougars will drop to class 3A this season.
