Letcher County Central is hosting the 2025 boys and girls soccer 14th Region tournaments this week.
The girls tournament semifinals got underway last night at LCC.
In game one, Estill County shutout Perry County Central 8-0.
The 53rd District champion LCC Lady Cougars got by Powell County in game two in sudden death overtime 4-3.
So, tomorrow, Wednesday night at 6:30pm at LCC 7-7-1 Estill County will face 16-7 Letcher County Central for the girls soccer 14th Region tournament championship.
Estill County has won the girls soccer region 6 years in a row and the last region title for Letcher County Central came in 2014.
The boys 14th Region soccer tournament semifinals will be played tonight at LCC.
Game one will be Hazard taking on Jackson City at 6:30pm.
The 53rd District runner up LCC Cougar boys will face Powell County tonight at 8:30pm in the second semifinal game.
The boys 14th region soccer tournament championship game will be Thursday at 6:30pm.
All games will be played at Letcher County Central.
