The championship games of the boys & girls 53rd District soccer tournaments were held last night at Letcher County Central High School.
In game one, the Letcher County Central girls soccer claimed their third consecutive 53rd District Tournament title with a 7-2 win over Perry County Central in the championship game.
The boys soccer 53rd district championship game featured Hazard taking on Letcher County Central last night. The Cougar boys lost to Hazard 4-0 so LCC is the boys 2025 district runner up.
LCC boys all district team was Owen Miller, William Bolling and Xyler Sexton.
LCC girls all district team was Molly Caudill, Paylan Bolling, Sophia Hogg, Autumn Farmer with Emma Adams named district MVP.
Up next for all 4 teams will be the soccer 14th Region Tournament.
