The Letcher County Central Cougars baseball team came back from 3 runs down to get the home win over Pike County Central 10-9 Thursday night.
The Cougars were down 9-6 going into the bottom of the 7th when Brody Griffith blasted a 3 run home run to tie it at 9-all.
Later with the bases loaded, Mason Boggs walked to score the walk off winning run from third and the Cougars get the big win to even their record at 3-3.
LCC baseball will next play at East Ridge this Monday at 6:00pm.
Jenkins Cavaliers baseball lost at East Ridge Thursday night to fall to 1-5 on the year.
The Cavaliers won’t play again until April 6th when they play a district game at Knott County Central.
