The High school basketball season is getting underway this week across Kentucky and here in the mountains.
The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars opened the season last night with a road game at Pikeville.
The LCC girls lost to the Panthers 57-28.
The Lady Cougars be back in action against tonight against Central HS of Wise County at UVA Wise. JV begins at 6:30 with varsity at 8:00pm.
