Monday was a cold opening day for high school baseball and softball across Kentucky and in the game you heard live here on the Bulldog, the 14th Region defending champion, Letcher County Central Lady Cougars opened the season at home against the Hazard Lady Bulldogs.
Hazard won 10-6 over LCC in a well-played game by both teams.
The Lady Cougars play again today with much nicer weather expected as they take on Eastside VA out of Wise County at home.
First pitch is at 6:00pm.
