LCC Lady Cougars Escape Hazard in 14th Region Tournament Opening Round

The girls 14th Region basketball tournament continued last night at Estill County High School at Irvine.

In game one,  Estill County got by Breathitt County 41-35. 

In game 2, the Letcher County Central escaped, 35-33 over a tough Hazard team in a hard fought game.

The girls 14th region semifinals will be Friday night at Estill County.

At 6:00pm Owsley County will face Perry County Central.

Around 7:45 Friday Estill County will take on Letcher County Central in semifinal game two.

We’ll bring you the LCC-Estill County girls semifinal game Friday here on the Bulldog.

Our pregame will begin at 7:15 with Michael Watts and Greg Bull Creech. 

The girls 14th Region championship game wil be Saturday night at 7:30pm all at Estill County. 

The boys 14th Region Tournament will be played at Powell County High School at Stanton and begins tonight.

This evening at 6:00pm, the 53rd District Runner Up, Letcher County Central Cougars will take on the Hazard Bulldogs.

We’ll bring you the LCC-Hazard boys 14th  region game tonight from Powell County with pregame starting here on the Bulldog at 5:30pm with Michael Watts and Greg “Bull” Creech.

The second boys game tonight around 8:00pm will be Breathitt County taking on Estill County.

On Thursday the other two boys opening round games will be played.

At 6:00pm Knott County Central faces Wolfe County and around 8:00pm Perry County Central takes on Powell County.  

The boys 14th region semifinals will be Saturday afternoon at 1:00 and 3:00pm with the championship game Monday at 7:00pm all at Powell County.
