In the high school softball, the Letcher County Central Lady Cougars are playing 6 games over 5 days in the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach South Carolina this week during spring break. The Lady Cougars lost 5-0 to Boyd County yesterday. The 6-5 LCC girls will take on Forbush High School out of East Bend, North Carolina at 9:00am this morning. They will face Maumee, Ohio at 11:15am Wednesday morning.
The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers won’t play again until Monday April 8th when they play Leslie County in the opening round of the 14th Region All A Softball Tournament.
