The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars improved their record to 6-4 with a nice 63-52 win over Betsy Layne last night in the Cavalier Christmas Classic at Jenkins.
The Jenkins boys and girls are playing in and hosting the Cavalier Christmas Classic featuring Freshmen, JV and varsity boys & girls basketball yesterday and today, Tuesday.
Yesterday a full slate of games was played in the Cavalier Classic.
Jenkins girls lost to East Ridge 52-32 and Jenkins boys won 2 games beating Ligon KY Home School 46-22 and beating Red Bird 65-46.
Another full slate of games in the Cavalier Christmas Classic will start at 10:00am this morning and go all day at Jenkins Middle High School Gym.
Jenkins boys will play the David School tonight at 8:00pm and the Jenkins girls will play Wolfe County tonight at 6:00pm.
