In high school baseball, the Letcher County Central Cougars won 6-5 over Lee High in Jonesville VA Friday night.
The Cougar boys are now 8-5 and 6-1 during April.
LCC baseball will next play this Wednesday at Shelby Valley and then take on Wise Central at home on Thursday.
The 2-4 Jenkins Cavaliers baseball will next play a district doubleheader Wednesday at Knott County Central and then play at Grundy VA on Thursday.
