In high school softball, the Letcher County Central Lady Cougars picked up 2 wins Saturday in the North Laurel Triangle at London. The Lady Cougars beat North Laurel 7-2 and beat Casey County 7-5.
The 5 and 3 LCC softball girls will next play at Eastside VA tonight, Monday, at 6:00pm and will be back home to take on Harlan County Tuesday, tomorrow at 6:00pm.
The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers lost a slugfest at Prestonsburg Friday 15-12.
The 2-2 Jenkins girls will next play Twin Valley VA tonight, Monday, at 6:00pm, and play a district game at Knott County Central tomorrow, Tuesday, at 6:00pm.
