The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars softball team played two games Thursday at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in the Cal Ripken Experience.
Thursday morning, Buckeye Winter League out of Ohio defeated Letcher County Central 11-3. The Lady Cougars the lost a close one Thursday afternoon 4-3 to Northmont High School also from Ohio.
Letcher County Central softball will wrap up play in Myrtle Beach Friday morning with a 9:00am game against Lake Center Christian out of Hartsville, Ohio.
The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers softball team will play Knott County Central at home in a big district game on Monday at 6:00pm.
