A Leslie County man is facing charges for reportedly trying to break into a home in Perry County in the middle of the day one day last week.
Perry County Sheriff Joe Engle tells the Hazard Herald thay were called around noon on March 11 to an attempted burglary of a residence at Fusonia.
The Sheriff says deputies found a man nearby who was ID’d by several witnesses as the person who had been trying to break in.
Scott Stacy was arrested on charges including attempted burglary, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and giving an officer a false name.
