A reminder that April in Letcher County is Spring Clean-Up Month.
The Letcher County Fiscal Court has arranged for you to dispose of unwanted items at the Letcher County Transfer Station at no charge for residents for the month of April.
The landfill hours are Monday through Saturday from 8am to 2pm.
Most items are free of charge but there is some payment needed for large amounts of building materials as well as for tires.
