A Letcher County boy diagnosed with a rare skull cancer at the age of four has been declared cancer-free.
Carson Sexton – who just turned five this week – was diagnosed last year with a poorly differentiated chordoma.
His mother Roseanna Sexton tells WYMT Carson underwent 42 radiation treatments over three months in Miami which finished up last month.
He still has a port but that is set to be removed soon after his next scans.
Then in July the family will be going on a Make A Wish trip to Legoland.
