Letcher County Central Boys & Girls Have Winning Weekend

The Letcher County Central Cougar boys picked up two home wins this weekend, beating Mountain Mission VA 80-76 Friday night and beat Buckhorn 79-50 on senior night Saturday.

The LCC boys are now 14-11 and have one more game left in the regular season.  That will be a home game tomorrow, Tuesday, against Prestonsburg. 

The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars also got a home win over the weekend beating Floyd Central on senior night Friday 65-44.

The LCC girls are now 18-8 with one game to go in the regular season.  They will play tomorrow, Tuesday, at Leslie County.

The Jenkins Cavalier boys beat Buckhorn Friday 79-68 to improve to 16-13 overall.

The Cavalier boys will wrap up the regular season this Friday at Abingdon Christian.

The 6-21 Jenkins Lady Cavaliers have 3 games left in the regular season.

They will play Jackson City tonight at home, Buckhorn Tuesday night and Friday at Abingdon Christian. 

The boys and girls 53rd District Tournament will be held next week at Knott County Central.

Girls begin Monday Feb 26
