The Letcher County Central Cougars boys will play Raceland this Saturday in the Boyd County Roundball Classic with tipoff at 2:00pm.
The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars will continue play in the 10th annual Powell Valley National Bank Girls Tip-Off Classic at UVA-Wise this Friday, December 5 at 5:30pm against the loser of Unicoi County/Eastside.
The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers girls basketball team picked up their first win of the season beating Cordia on the road in a district game last night 52-28.
The Lady Cavaliers will next play on December 10 as part of a boys/girls doubleheader at JI Burton in Norton VA.
The Jenkins Cavalier boys basketball opens their season at home this Friday, December 5 against ACTS out of Chilhowie VA.
