The Letcher County Central Cougars and Lady Cougars picked up wins over the Jenkins Cavaliers and Lady Cavaliers at Jenkins last night in a 53rd District doubleheader.
In game one, the LCC Lady Cougars improved to 16-7 record with a 75-43 win over Jenkins. The Lady Cavaliers fall to 6-19 on the year.
In game two, in front of rowdy crowd, the LCC Cougar boys won over Jenkins in a hard fought game 64-50. The LCC boys are now 11-10 on the season. Jenkins falls to 15-13.
