Letcher County’s Angie Hatton Appointed to Leadership Role with National Organization

Kentucky Public Service Commission Chair Angie Hatton has been appointed to serve as the Co-Vice Chair of the Subcommittee on Clean Coal and Carbon Management for the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners.

The former State Representative for Letcher, Pike and Harlan Counties has spent much of her legislative work focused on energy and utility issues.

The Appalachian News Express reports Hatton will lead the subcommittee along with members from Wyoming and North Dakota.

Hatton says the committee will be at the forefront of national discussions about reliable power sources that also power the economy.
