You are invited to a meeting about Letcher County’s Long-Term Planning and Recovery. You can learn about current plans in the works and provide ideas for the future of Letcher County and the cities of Jenkins, Fleming Neon, and Whitesburg. You can talk about what services are missing in your community, how Letcher County should build back better after the flood, how the flood buyout properties should be used and maintained, and more. It’s on Thursday, March 7 at the Letcher County Recreation Center with two sessions you can stop by: 11am-2pm or 4pm-6pm.
