Letcher Emergency Medical Services (EMS) has reportedly stopped providing service with
Neon Fire and Rescue now taking over their calls, but as of yet that has not been
confirmed by any Letcher County or Neon officials.
WYMT is reporting that the former executive director resigned in April due to health issues and that position has not yet been replaced.
We are awaiting word as to whether this is a temporary situation.
