Mary Ison, age 82, of Cowan, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Kat Gross of Sandlick, Shirley Yawn of Sandlick and Sophia Ison of Cowan; 2 sons: David Ison and Joey Ison both of Cowan; adopted son: Darrell Atkins of Richmond; 4 grandchildren: 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mary Ison will be held at 1:00pm Monday, February 17, 2025 at the Kingscreek Community Church with Jimmy Dotson and Glen Gross officiating.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Saturday and be all day Sunday at the Kingscreek Community Church.
Burial will follow in the Yawn Cemetery at Sandlick.
