Carl Silas Osborne, age 39, of Pinetop, passed away on Friday January 3, 2025 at Campton.

He is survived by his wife: Jennifer Jones of Pinetop; 2 daughters: Sadie Osborne of Thornton and Nina Osborne of Ohio; 1 stepdaughter: Ava Ashley of Vicco; 1 stepson: Christian Whitaker of Jonesville, VA.

Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00pm this evening, Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg.

Funeral services for Carl Silas Osborne will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Fultz Cemetery at Thornton.

Henry Ray Bentley, age 85, of Jenkins, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the Whitesburg ARH.

He is survived by 1 daughter: Kim Bentley of Jenkins; 2 sons: Henry “Bubs” Bentley II of Jenkins and Brian Bentley of Jenkins; 3 grandchildren: Kole Bentley, Klint Bentley, and Kayla Jackson and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Henry Ray Bentley will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Friday January 10, 2025 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church with Bill Craft and Jeffery “Jabo” Miles officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mossie Baker Cemetery at Sandlick.

Jackie Coomer Adams, age 70, of Isom, passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard.

She is survived by 1 son: Emmitt Adams of Blackey; 2 daughters: Francis Coomer of Isom and Maggie McClain of Redfox; 2 brothers: Dudley Coomer and James Coomer both of Williamstown; 7 grandchildren: Austin, Cheyenne, Michael, Brandon, Colton, Alexas and Nathan; 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jackie Coomer Adams will be held at 12:00 Noon today, Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bufford Combs officiating.

Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Little Colley.

Kenneth ”Jabber” Blair, age 79, of Jenkins passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center.

He is survived by 1 son: Tom Edward Blair; 1 granddaughter: Makayla Blair; his sister: Tommie Jean Blair Branham of Caney; two nephews: Rodney Branham and Rick Branham, both of Caney, and one great nephew: Tyler Branham of Pikeville.

Visitation will begin after 11:00am Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel.

Funeral services for Kenneth ”Jabber” Blair will follow at 12:30pm Saturday at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel.

Burial will follow in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear.

Joe Michael Hill, Sr., age 74, of Jenkins passed away Monday January 6, 2025, at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield, Virginia.

He is survived by his companion: Lorena Jean Hill; 1 son: JJ Hill of Pound, Virginia; and grandson: Jayden Michael Hill.

William Joseph Calton, age 56, passed away on Thursday, January 2,2025, at the Harlan ARH.

He is survived by his children: Jana Stanifer and Kayla Miller; three grandchildren; a brother: Melvin “Bubby” Calton of Cumberland; three sisters, Tammy Sturgill of Middlesboro; Mary Gail Sturgill of Partridge and Celia Noe of Wallins Creek.
