Melissa Ann Caudill, age 52, of Letcher, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the Christian Heights Nursing & Rehab Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Keshia Brock; 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers: Phillip Wayne Caudill, Stanley Caudill Jr. and Jeffery Lynn Caudill; 2 sisters: Tryllis Barton and Sondra Seals along with special friends: Helen Margaret Combs and Sam Combs.
Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00pm this evening Friday, January 12, 2024, at the Carcassonne New Covenant Ministries Church.
Funeral services for Melissa Ann Caudill will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Carcassonne New Covenant Ministries Church with Sue Jent and Wayne Caudill officiating.
Burial will Follow in the Adams Cemetery at Jeremiah.

Lucille Bates Polly, age 83, of Whitesburg, passed away Monday January 8, 2024 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Camie Polly Turner of Shelbyville; 1 son: Gregory Polly of Pikeville; 1 brother: J.D. Bentley of Nicholasville, KY; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Lucille Bates Polly will be held at 1:00pm this afternoon, Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Everidge Funeral Home chapel with Tim Moushon and J.R. Bates officiating.

Funeral Services for Rodney Lee Sexton will be held at 10:00am Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at Cornettsville with Jared Salmons and Kenny Salmons officiating.
Burial will follow at Hamilton Cemetery at Cornettsville.

He is survived by his stepfather: Chris Trosper, his life-partner, Keirstin Hanke; 1 son: William Russell Trosper, 3 daughters: Megan Johnson and Randi Alysha Jackson both of Cumberland and Christi Wyatt of Virginia; 1 brother: Wesley Davidson of Lynch and his aunt: Lonnie Lucas of Whitesburg.
A Memorial Service for Harold Wayne Johnson, Jr. will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 12th, at the Cumberland Valley Funeral Home in Cumberland with Glenn Cornett officiating.

John Dixon, age 73, of Cumberland, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Harlan ARH.
He is survived by his wife: Shelia Dixon, of Cumberland; 1 daughter: Amy Dixon of Paintsville; 1 son: John Jacob Dixon, of Lexington; 3 grandchildren; 3 siblings: Toy Dixon, Joy Purdy and Dixie Ray; 2 special friends: Ira Sergent and Ray McKinney.
Visitation will be from 12:30-3:00pm Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the chapel of Tri City Funeral Home at Benham with a memorial service for John Dixon following at 3:00pm Saturday with Dennis Williams officiating.
Military Rites will be held at the Eastern Kentucky Veteran’s Memorial Park immediately following the service.
