He is survived by 1 son: Johnny Gibson of Louisiana; 1 daughter: Kathy Danielle Gibson of Neon; 1 brother: Mark Gibson of Haymond; 3 sisters: Verna Adams of Letcher, Bertha Kiser of Whitesburg and Rena Collins of Whitesburg and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Emmitt Lee Gibson will be held at 11:00am this morning, Friday, July 17, 2026 at the United Faith Ministries Church at Thornton with Cody Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Ermine.
