James “Buddy” Brock
James “Buddy” Brock, age 71, of Whitesburg, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife: Donna Brock of Whitesburg; 1 daughter: Virginia Brock of Whitesburg; 2 sisters: Sharon Sexton of Dry Fork and Sammy J. Clark of Lafollette, TN and 1 grandchild.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Friday, March 29th at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesburg.
Funeral services for James “Buddy” Brock will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, March 30th at the Everidge Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Adams and Glen Gross officiating.
Burial will follow in the Douglas Day Cemetery on Pine Mountain.

Barbara Kay Collins, age 67, of Whitesburg, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Whitesburg ARH.
She is survived by her Husband: Dr. Bill Martin Collins of Whitesburg; 2 Sons: Stacy Yates of Jeremiah and Bryan Yates of West Virginia; 1 Daughter: Melissa Johnson of Dorton; 3 Brothers: Paul Akers of Dorton, Bruce Akers of Dorton and Clarence Akers of Dorton; 2 Sisters: Betty Hall of Dorton and Wanda Bailey of West Virginia and 5 Grandchildren.
Funeral services for Barbara Kay Collins will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Beth McCrey and Tony Bentley officiating.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm this evening, Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will take place in the family cemetery at Dorton at a later date.

Juanita Caudill Maggard, age 86, of Partridge, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
She is survived by 6 children: Mary Ann Smith of Kingsport TN, Connie Sue Maggard of Partridge, Carolyn Sue Simmons of Winnabow, NC, Billy Darrell Troyer of Boliva, NC, Martha Jane Hewett of Bolivia, NC, and Glenda Sherrill Harrison of Winnabow, NC; 2 stepchildren: Maggie Joann Caudill of North Carolina, Roger Maggard of WA; 3 adopted children as her own: Debra Potter, Teresa Sturgill, and Brenda Owens; 3 siblings: Gracie Parsons of Cumberland, Benton Caudill of Pennsylvania and Lafayette Junior Caudill of Michigan; 12 grandchildren and 5 great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Tri-City Funeral Home at Benham.
Funeral services for Juanita Caudill Maggard will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday April 2, 2024 at The Tri City Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Caudill officiating.
Burial will follow with a graveside service will be held at the Maggard Cemetery at Partridge.

Willie Creighton Adams, age 80, of Eolia, passed away on Tuesday March 26, 2024, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife Victoria Engle Adams; 1 daughter: Pamela Sturgill of Eolia; 1 son: Larry Adams of Whitesburg; 3 grand-children; 1 great-granddaughter and one on the way; sister-in law: Bernice Adams and nephew, Greg Adams.
Funeral services for Willie Creighton Adams will be held at 1:00 pm this afternoon, Friday March 29, 2024 at the Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Pound, VA with Troy Belcher and Junior Belcher officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dewey Memorial Cemetery in Pound, VA.
