He is survived by 1 daughter: April Hall of Knoxville, Tennessee; 1 grandson: Weston Hall and special friend: Lisa Johnson.

Sybil Madge Whitaker, age 84, of Roxana, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at the Hazard ARH.
She is survived by 2 sons: Mitch Whitaker and Ivan Whitaker; 7 grandchildren: Sarah Watkins, Mitch Whitaker, Rebecca Whitaker, Dorothy Gaither Wright, Thomas Whitaker, Lacy Whitaker, and Amanda Whitaker along with 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00-10:00pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Premium Baptist Church.
Funeral Services for Sybil Madge Whitaker will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Premium Baptist Church with Tony Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Roxana.

William Joseph Calton
William Joseph Calton, age 56, passed away on Thursday, January 2,2025, at the Harlan ARH.
He is survived by his children: Jana Stanifer and Kayla Miller; three grandchildren; a brother: Melvin “Bubby” Calton of Cumberland; three sisters, Tammy Sturgill of Middlesboro; Mary Gail Sturgill of Partridge and Celia Noe of Wallins Creek.
Visitation will be from 12:00noon-2:00pm Saturday January 11, 2025 at the Tri City Funeral Home at Benham.
Burial will follow in the Melvin B Calton Cemetery at Blair.

Doug Osborne, age 79, of Dorton passed away Thursday January 2, 2025 at his residence.
He is survived by two sisters; Nadine Osborne Baker of Dorton and Neva Bartley of Penny.
Visitation with begin after 6:00PM this evening, Monday, January 6, 2025 at the Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church with services starting tonight at 7:00PM.
Funeral services for Doug Osborne will be held at 11:00AM tomorrow, Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at the Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptists Ministers officiating.
Burial will follow in the Joe and Lilly Osborne Cemetery at Dorton.
