Carl Bentley
Carl Bentley, age 91, of Jackhorn, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
He is survived by two brothers, Herbert Bentley of Jackhorn and Robert Bentley of Jackhorn and one sister, Nellie Fleming of Jackhorn.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Tuesday, March 18, 2025 and after 6:00pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with services nightly beginning at 7:00pm.
Funeral services for Carl Bentley will be at 11:00am Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with Church of Christ Ministers officiating.
Burial will follow in the Bertha Bentley Family Cemetery at Boone Mountain.

Beulah Charlene Polly Thomas, age, 66, of Neon, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
She is survived by one daughter: Brianna Lockhart of Neon; four brothers: Gary J. Polly of Vero Beach, FL, Charlie Ted Polly of Jenkins, Donnie Gene Polly of Kona and Add Polly of Kona; two sisters: Diane Johnson of Jenkins and Georgia Lynn Harrod of Smithfield.
Visitation will begin after 6:00pm this evening, Monday March 17, 2025 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel with services beginning at 7:00PM.
Funeral services for Beulah Charlene Polly Thomas will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home, Jenkins Chapel.
Burial will follow in the Polly Cemetery at Bill Moore Branch.

Steven Joseph Litts, age 75, of Lexington, formerly of Jenkins, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
He is survived by one brother, Barry Litts of Knoxville, TN along with a host of friends and loved ones.
Visitation will begin at 11:00AM this morning, Monday March 17, 2025 at the Jenkins Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Steven Joe Litts will follow at 2:00pm this afternoon Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Jenkins Methodist Church with Larry Pennix officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens at Big Stone Gap, VA.

Joe Carboni
Joe Carboni, age 63, of Jenkins passed away on Thursday March 14, 2025.
He is survived by his children, Stephanie and Addison of Jenkins, Joey and Victoria of Zanesville, Ohio, and Marcello and Diana of Beachwood, New Jersey, grandchildren Rocco and Amelia, and siblings Lorraine Cerdeiros, Michael Carboni, Theresa Haas, and Charles Kramer Jr.
A memorial service for Joe Carboni will be held Monday, March 17, at the Jenkins Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
