David Chuck Halcomb, age 72, of Letcher passed away Friday, December 13,2024, at the Hazard ARH.
He is survived by his wife: Jenny Halcomb. One daughter : Brandy Johnson; 2 Brothers: William Bryan Halcomb and Varge Halcomb Jr.; 2 sisters; Brenda Caudill and Evon Gibson; 2 Grandchildren: Shana Shepherd and Caden Shepherd; Lifelong friends: Artie Ann Bates, Jan Browning, Deb Fields and Dan Fields.
Visitation will be after 6:00pm Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the Mt. Olivet Church in Blackey.
Funeral services for David Chuck Halcomb will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Mt.Olivet Church at Blackey with Danny Dixon ,Toby Breeding and others officiating.
Burial will follow in the Halcomb Cemetery at the Brown Settlement.

Alvin Slone, age 59, of Roxana passed away Monday, December 02, 2024 at the Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson.
He is survived by his mother: Nellie Eldridge Slone; 2 Daughters: Nora Towery and Kayla Slone; 1 Son: Alvin Joseph (AJ) Slone; 2 sisters: Lora “Shorty” Quillen and Fayetta Keel and 5 Grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Lisa Honeycutt of Ermine, Linda Fields of Hazard, James Lee Fields of Cowan, Rosemary McClain of Blackey and James Orville Fields of Cowan; 1 sister: Daisy Potter of Campbranch; along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jay Cameron Frazier, age 36, of Fairmont, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday December 7th at his residence in West Virginia.
He is survived by his children: Cameron Kylen Frazier and Shipley Jane Frazier; his parents: Gaither G. Frazier and Deborah Hammock Frazier; siblings Sarah Frazier Mayse, David Michael Frazier, Lisa Frazier Fleming and Christopher Frazier; and friend and cousin, Dylan Kincer.

A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00pm this afternoon, Saturday, at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
